Coattails is built to know as little about you as possible. Here is the whole picture, in plain words.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Coattails has no accounts, no sign-up, and asks for no name, email, or phone number.

What stays on your device

The traders you follow, the tickers you type into your watchlist, and whether you have seen the welcome guide are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

What the app fetches

The app downloads a read-only "board" of publicly disclosed trades, signals, and market context from our servers. That request carries no personal information beyond what any internet request includes (such as an IP address, which we do not log or store).

What we never do

• We never connect to your brokerage, bank, or any financial account.
• We never sell, share, or trade data about you. We have none to sell.
• We show no third-party ads and use no advertising trackers.

Crash reports and analytics

A future version may add anonymous crash reporting and usage analytics so we can fix bugs and improve the app. If that happens, this policy will be updated first and the data will not identify you personally.

Children

Coattails is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
